Who am I?

Untitled

Hi, I’m Marion.

A researcher in evolutionary biology and ecology, I spent many years exploring and trying to understand the living world.

But one morning in July 2018, my life took on a whole new dimension with the arrival of Minus, followed by Minusculette in 2021. Since then, I’ve been cherishing every moment watching them grow, discover, and marvel at the world around them.

Now based in Sweden, I’ve found a beautiful balance between work, family life, and creativity. This journey naturally led me to take a deeper interest in child development and to explore how play, nature observation, books, and creative activities can nurture learning in a joyful and organic way.

A core value that guides my daily life is sustainability and mindful consumption.

I love showing my children that it’s possible to create with what we already have: a simple piece of cardboard can become a fascinating game, and a few leaves collected during a walk can inspire a beautiful creative activity.

Helping children understand recycling, the rhythm of the seasons, and the importance of local consumption is, for me, a simple and meaningful way to pass on the importance of protecting our planet.

I am also deeply involved in the French-speaking community in Uppsala.

I regularly lead creative workshops and reading sessions for children aged 2 to 8 with AFFUp (Alliance des Familles Francophones d’Uppsala), where I serve as president, as well as through “Le Temps d’une Histoire en Français” at the Uppsala library, a project supported by the municipality.

These gatherings are always wonderful moments of sharing—for both children and their parents.

Since 2025, a new passion has become a big part of my creative world: crochet.

I love imagining and creating small, soft, and poetic crochet toys, as well as designing detailed patterns so others can recreate them.

Some pieces are available as handmade creations, while others are offered as crochet patterns for amigurumi and textile craft enthusiasts.

🌿 Learn, create, recycle, and be amazed.
There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a child’s eyes light up when they discover that with very little… you can create so much.
