DIY - Raised Outline Painting for Guided Watercolor

I sleep in a teapot, who am I?đŸ«–đŸ’€

It's me, the dormouse 🐭! Always sleeping, even during the crazy tea parties of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare... unless someone whispers "cat." Luckily, a little jam on my nose is all it takes to calm it down.

A guided painting idea for the little ones. Many models can be imagined.

For Christmas: baubles, christmas tree, elf

For Easter: patterned eggs, chick, rabbit

For summer: butterfly, ladybird, flowers

Autumn: leaf, tree, mushroom, pine cone

🐭Materials:

-White paper for watercolor painting

-Pencil

-Eraser

-Hot glue gun

-Watercolors

-Paintbrushes

-Posca markers

🐭Step-by-step

1ïžâƒŁ Sketch your chosen design with (I choose Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland). Lightly erase to leave only light outlines.

2ïžâƒŁ Trace the main lines with a hot glue gun. This creates a raised outline to guide your painting!

3ïžâƒŁ Paint with watercolors. The glue relief perfect for staying within the lines.

4ïžâƒŁ Add details with markers (here, the faces).
