A quick DIY project to make a pretty Santa Lucia by recycling a simple cardboard tp roll!

In the long, dark nights of the Swedish winter, Saint Lucia brings her light.
Every year on December 13, Sweden shines with songs, processions, and of course, delicious saffron buns — the lussekatter.
Here’s a simple and fun creative activity to celebrate Santa Lucia with the kids!

Réalisation :
Stick a 3 cm strip of masking tape around the top of the tp roll.
Paint the rest of the roll white.
While it dries, prepare the candles: wrap a bit of gold pipe cleaner around one end of the white one, cut to make a small candle, and repeat as many times as you like.
Twist the two green pipe cleaner together into a circle to form a wreath the same size as the roll. Remove the masking tape and place the wreath on top of the roll and slide the candles between the wreath and the roll.
Draw the face with the black Posca (eyes, nose, mouth) and add rosy cheeks with the pink pastel.
Finish by drawing a red belt on the white dress with the red Posca.
