Glow-in-the-Dark Ghosts - an easy Halloween craft for kids.
Little ghosts that glow in the dark!
Outside, the October rain is falling and the days are getting shorter… Halloween is just around the corner!
Why not take advantage of this rainy Wednesday to invite a few little ghosts over to our house?

With paper, colored markers, and a touch of glow-in-the-dark paint, you can create a Halloween display that’s both cheerful and spooky.
During the day, the ghosts wander in front of a brightly colored background. But when the lights go out… surprise! They glow in the dark.

A simple Halloween craft activity that combines graphic design, drawing, cutting, and collage, while leaving plenty of room for imagination.

Step-by-step
1.Create a colorful background
Quatre espaces, des lignes et une explosion de couleurs Quatre espaces, des lignes et une explosion de couleurs Quatre espaces, des lignes et une explosion de couleurs
Divide your sheet of paper into four sections.
Using the Solid poster paint in sticks, fill each section with colorful lines and stripes. Alternate colors, line thicknesses, and directions: draw horizontal lines in some squares and vertical lines in others.
You’ll end up with a graphic, high-contrast background that will make your little ghosts stand out.
2. Draw your ghosts

On another sheet of paper, draw one or more ghosts with a pencil.
Imagine their expressions: big eyes, a mischievous smile, rosy cheeks… You can even add a crown, a necklace, or some fun accessories!
Trace the outlines and details with markers.
3. Cut out the ghosts

Carefully cut out your ghosts along their outlines.
4. Set up your scene

Use the glue stick to attach the ghosts to the colored background.
Arrange them at different heights, or let one stick out slightly beyond the frame to give it a haunted-picture look.
5. Add a touch of magic

Apply glow-in-the-dark paint to certain parts of the ghosts, especially their outlines and a few details. Let it dry.
Then place your creation near a light source to charge the glow-in-the-dark paint.
Why do we love this activity?
We love this craft project because it helps children develop several creative skills:
Graphism: Children experiment with lines, directions, colors, and patterns to create their own designs.
Fine motor skills: Drawing small details, cutting out shapes, and gluing them requires precision and coordination.
Imagination: Each ghost can have its own personality, expression, and accessories.
Surprise: Glow-in-the-dark paint adds a magical touch to the craft.
A perfect activity for a rainy Wednesday to start decorating the house for Halloween!
