It's never too late to decorate the Christmas tree!

Here’s a simple and charming idea to make lovely little stars to hang in your tree — a poetic, nature-inspired craft that’s perfect to do on your own or with the kids.

A creative and eco-friendly using materials that we often already have on hand, such as simple toilet paper rolls!

Materials :

  • A tp roll

  • Acrylic paint (ref) or decorative papers (ref)

  • Mod Podge (ref)

  • A hot glue gun ( ref )

  • A jute thread (ref)

  • A scissors

Setp-by-step

  1. Prepare the base: flatten the toilet paper roll and cut it into three strips about 1 cm wide.

  2. Decorate:

    - Paint the cardboard strips

    Or

    - cover them with decorative paper using Mod Podge. Let them dry completely.

  3. Shape the branches: cut small triangles along both edges of each strip to create a more delicate, star-like look.

  1. Assemble: glue the three strips together with a hot glue gun to form a star.

  2. Hang it: tie a piece of jute string or twine to the top of your star so you can hang it in your tree

And there you have it — a delicate and upcycled ornament that will make your Christmas tree shine with handmade charm!
