A lovely winter project, perfect for curious little hands.

Materials

  • Watercolor paper (300g ; ref)

  • White or transparent oil pastel (ref)

  • Water-based paint ( ref)

  • Glue (ref et ref)

  • Wool (ref)

  • Fork

  • Scissors

  • Paintbrushes

Réalisation

  1. Cut out the shape of a hat from the white sheet of paper. Cut a strip of paper the same length as the bottom of the hat.

  2. Glue the strip to the bottom of the hat to create the lining.

  3. Using a white or transparent oil pastel, draw patterns (snowflakes, hearts, circles, etc.) on the hat.

  4. Then paint the entire surface with water-based paint: the pastel drawings will appear as if by magic!

  5. For the pompom:

Wrap the wool around the top of the fork

    Tie the center firmly

Cut the wool on the sides and glue the pompom to the top of the hat

This simple, sensory activity helps children develop hand-eye coordination and experiment with shapes and colors.

The game of hide-and-seek inspires curiosity. A truly magical moment of creativity where children enjoy watching their drawings appear under the brush.
