Eggs cover with pearl dough

I discovered this pearl dough in a craft store in Sweden (link for the dough here).

It's really great for activities with kids because it's very easy to use and the texture is really fun for them.

We have covered several eggs in polystyrene with the pearl dough.

More detail (materials and step by step: here)

We also made a chick with 18 month old Minusculette. She helped me cover the egg with yellow pearl dough and she put the feathers in the egg. I then cut a beak from orange paper and eyes from white paper and we glued them together onto the chick.

At 18 months, kids can't do such complex creative activities yet, but they love to participate, which allows for gentle fine motor work for the child.
