Easy DIY for Spring - Paper Towel Rose

What if simple pieces of paper towel could be transformed into a beautiful, colorful rose?


With a few circles of paper towel, some watercolors (or markers and water), and a touch of glue, children can create a pretty flower full of softness and color.

A simple, quick, and perfect creative activity for spring!



Materials

  • Paper towels

  • watercolors (or felt pens and water spray)

  • Paintbrushes

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Toilet paper roll

  • Pencil (or fin marker)


Step-by-step:


Summary of the steps :

  1. Draw several circles about 6 cm in diameter on the paper towel.

  2. Cut out the circles.

  3. Paint them with watercolors in the colors of your choice.

    Another option is to color the circles with markers and blend the color using a water spray (see pictures below)

  4. Let them dry.

  5. Arrange the petals around the cardboard tube, overlapping them slightly and add a small amount of glue between the petals.

  6. Turn the tp roll upside down and release the flower.
